    • Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, June 28, 1910 Oswego Palladium Times - A Record Of Tragedies - Recalled by the Suicide of Peter Horr, Jr., in Phoenix. - Phoenix, June 28 - A strange record of family tragedies culminated here Saturday when Peter Horr Jr., aged sixty two, committed suicide by taking paris green. April 1st, Mr. Horr's wife dropped dead in the street. One year ago her brother, George Becker, committed suicide under almost the same circumstances as Mr. Horr, by taking paris green. He was found dead in a cemetery. Last Summer, I. Kent, a cousin of Mrs. Horr, took laudanum. The member of the family who took his life Saturday had been employed in local paper mills, but had lost his job. he leaves one son, Homer Horr, of Phoenix. The funeral was held yesterday.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 20, 1910 Madison County Leader - Morrisville, New York - Peter Horr, Jr., a well known resident of Phoenix, committed suicide Friday by taking paris green. On April 1st his wife dropped dead in the street. A year ago his brother ended his troubles by swallowing a large dose of paris green in a cemetery. Last summer his wife's cousin commited suicide with laudanum.

      Peter died from a broken heart! He committed suicide a few months after his wife's death. She died at age 54. He ended his life 2 months later at age 61.
