Nettie L. Halsey Horning, 89, of 36 Edgewood Drive, Parish, died Friday. She was born in Albion. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Elmer Sr., died in 1979.
Survivors: Five daughters, Edith Spedding of Florida, Hannas Bristol and Bonnie Fadden, both of Parish, Dayle Painter of Fulton and Linda Roser of Altmar; four sons, Elmer Jr. and H. Arthur, both of Florida, and David and Mahlon, both of Parish; three sisters, Arestine Spencer and Reatha Spedding, both of Pulaski, and Marion Ginn of Mexico; two brothers, Maurice Halsey of Maine and Raymond Halsey of Syracuse; 28 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harter Funeral Home. Burial, Pleasant Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours, 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 2983 W. Main St., Parish.
