Services for Gene A. Woolson, 47, of O'Mara Drive, Brewerton, who died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Caughdenoy United Methodist Church, Caughdenoy. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Krueger Brewerton Chapel, 9525 S. Main St., Brewerton.
A native of Orwell, Mr. Wilson had lived in Brewerton the past 20 years. He was employed with Crucible Specialty Metals as a security patrolman for the last 17 years. He also occasionally served as an acting duty sergeant.
Mr. Woolson was a member of the United Steelworkers of America Local 2924.
He was an overseas veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the shore patrol of the Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Irene J.; three daughters, Kimberly K. Zelinski of Dale City, Va., Evonne J. Rogers of Brewerton and Bonnie J. Woolson at home; a son, Philip R. at home; his parents, Richard and June Woolson of Orwell; a sister, Mary Kohutanich of Lysander; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
