The daily palladium., July 17, 1907, Page 8, Image 8 - Drowned In Salmon River. - Pulaski, July 17 - Miss Rose Sperling, eighteen years old, was drowned in Salmon river yesterday while fishing. She was subject to fits and is supposed to have fallen into the water while in a helpless condition. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Sperling. The funeral will be held from the church in Amboy tomorrow afternoon.

Hollis was called to Altmar, Tuesday, on account of Miss Rose Sperling in Salmon River, a few rods from the Prouty home, where she was employed. She was subject to fits and is supposed to have fallen into the water while in a helpless condition. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Sperling. The funeral will be held from the church in Amboy this afternoon.

The Pulaski Democrat., July 24, 1907, Page 1, Image 1 - The funeral services of Rose Sperling, who was drowned last Tuesday, were held at Fraicheur, Thursday afternoon, Rev. Charles Parkhurst officiating. The deceased left a father, mother and two brothers to mourn her loss.
