Larry A. Phillips, age 63, life resident of Pulaski passed away Friday at Oswego Hospital. Larry was born March 26, 1952 in Utica, the son of John and Ione Spicer Phillips. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1971 and served in the United States Army from 1971 until 1974. Larry was employed by the Town of Richland Highway Department for 25 years, retiring in 2005. He was a formerly employed by the Pulaski Police Department as a police officer, and the Pulaski DPW. Larry was a member and past president of the Ringgold Fire Department and a member of the Robert Edwards Post #358 American Legion in Pulaski.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Phillips, one son, Christopher (Joy) Phillips of Arizona, one daughter, Teresa (Rob) Powell of Arizona, one stepson, Randolph Hill of Pulaski, two step-daughters, Shannon (Bill) Champion of Massachusetts and Stacey Phillips of Pulaski, and one brother, Ronald (Christa) Phillips of Pulaski and eight grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in South Richland Cemetery in Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the funeral.
