- Mrs. Lucy Phillips died about noon today at her home, No. 77 Niagara Street, after an illness extending over a period of eighteen months. Mrs. Phillips was born in Canada and had lived in Oswego for about thirty-eight years. She was the widow of James F. Phillips, who for many years was a well known baker. She is survived by one son, John H. Phillips and four daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Burbridge, Mrs. Alvira Matott, Mrs. Josie Crandall and Mrs. Ida Wicks, all of Oswego.
