Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 26, 1934 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Whitmore Dies At Family Home ¬Mrs. Margaret Clemens Whitmore, wife of M. J. Whitmore, died at her home on Port street Monday afternoon about three o'clock. Mrs. Whitmore had suffered a shock two weeks before from which she had not completely recovered. Mrs. Whitmore was born in Macy, Indiana, April 21, 1861, a daughter of Thomas and Delilah Clemens, and was the last of a large family On August 7, 1881 she was united in marriage to Mr. Whitmore. The couple continued their home in Indiana until 1915 when they moved to Pulaski and purchased the Frank Wood farm on Port street. Their home has since been there. She is survived by her husband, one son, Scott L. Whitmore, a rural mail carrier from the local post office; one granddaughter, Mrs. Thelma Waterbury and one great grandson, all of this village. The funeral will be held at the home this afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Henry Bridge, pastor of the Methodist church will officiate. Burial in Willis cemetery.
