      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 25, 1937 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Heart Attack is Fatal to Sampson Child - Pierrepont Manor - Martha Harriette Sampson, aged three, daughter of Willis and Doris Steele Sampson died suddenly late Saturday afternoon, March 20, 1927. She was born at Pierrepont Manor, New York, July 1, 1933 and had been delicate since birth with a weak heart but had been playing about the home during the day. She was stricken while taking her afternoon nap and died about five o'clock. She was a member of the Cradle Roll of Union Sunday School. Surviving besides her parents are three sisters, Miss Evelyn Sampson of Fort Lee High School, New Jersey, Ruby Jean 6, Grace Ann 2 and two brothers, Bernard aged 15 and Ward 9, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B. Steele and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Murray and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 with interment at Orwell.
