Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 11, 1954 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Rites Held for Mrs. Brownell - Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Brownell, 81, who died Friday morning at the home of Mrs. Allie Look on the Lacona road where she was spending the winter were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Wesley Baker, pastor of the Orwell Union Church of which she was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Orwell Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Brownell was born at Evans Mills September 17, 1873 and following her marriage to Norman Brownell had always lived in the Ricard-Orwell area. Mr. Brownell died several years ago. She is survived by two nieces. She was a worker of the Willing Workers Class of the church and the W.C.T.U.
