Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, January 1, 1931 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Clarence Samson - Clarence Samson, 60, died at his home in Richland, December 29, 1930, following an illness of six months. For many years he had been employed as a carpenter by the New York Central Railroad. During his earlier life he was engaged in farming. Mr. Sampson was born in Orwell, October 4, 1876, son of Lewis and Martha Elderkirk Samson [sic]. He is survived by three sons, Floyd, Howard and Earl Samson, all engaged in farming in the vicinity of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Martin of Rome, and Mrs. Pearl Jones of Corning, and one brother, Edward Samson of Boylston. Burial will be in Orwell.

Mr. Sampson was born in Orwell October 4, 1876, a son of Willis and Martha Oderkirk Samson. Three sons, Floyd, Howard and Earl Samson, and two daughters, Mrs. Fred Martin, of Rome, and Mrs. Pearl Jones, of Corning, survive him.
