      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, September 25, 1973 The Daily Press - Utica, New York - Oneida - Mrs. Carrie Wood Whitney, 95, of 318 Broad Street, widow of Ernest Whitney, died Sunday in Oneida City Hospital. She was born in Fernwood, the daughter of Daniel and Julia Gates Wood. She had lived in Oneida for the past 30 years, and had previously lived in Pulaski. She married Ernest Whitney in Pulaski in 1908. He died in 1943. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Garold Ruth King of Oneida. The funeral will be at 1 tomorrow from the Fiore Funeral Home with burial in the South Richland Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours are 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 today.
