Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 6, 1928 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Mrs. Louisa Learned Chadwick passed away Monday, March 11, after an illness of several months. She was born in the town of Richland November 20, 1870, the daughter of the late Lavillar Willis and Jennie House Willis. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Miss Blanche Learned, Syracuse, Mrs. Ralph Shumway, Geneseo, and one son Harry Learned, Syracuse; two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Willis and Mrs. Leverett Buck, Mexico; two brothers, Martin Willis of Mexico and Charlie Willis of Fernwood; three grandchildren, Jeanne Shumway and Janet and David Learned. The funeral was held at the house Wednesday afternoon. Interment in the Willis cemetery.
