Roy Allen early in the afternoon and when informed that the doctor was attending the S.C.R.O. & B. Agricultural meeting, said they would call later. After doing some shopping at Lacona, they returned and Mrs. Samson went into the office, while her husband waited outside. The doctor took her pulse which was normal and after a short consultation left the room to put up some medicine for her. When in about five minutes he returned the woman's head had dropped and he immediately discovered that something was wrong. Upon investigation he found she was dead. She had for several years suffered from apoplexy and had been under the care of Dr. Allen. She did not complain of feeling bad, but as she was in town called to get more medicine.
