Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 20, 1982 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Edna B. Barlow - Edna B. Barlow, aged 80 of County Route 22, Powerhouse Road, Orwell, New York was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Oswego Hospital Tuesday evening, October 12, 1982. She was born May 12, 1902 at Orwell, New York, the daughter of Miles and Lilly Hilton Blodgett. She attended Orwell schools. She was married to Earl M. Barlow on May 5, 1930. They resided in Orwell and spent the last few winters at Lakeland, Florida. Mr. Barlow was a retired self-employed carpenter and painter. Survivors include her husband, Earl M. Barlow of Orwell; one sister, Mrs. Whiting (Cecile) Hilton, Orwell; two brothers, Harold and Lester Blodgett, both of Orwell; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Marshall and Howard Blodgett, both of Orwell. The funeral was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 15th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, Rev. Virgil Hager, pastor of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
