      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 29, 1936 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Hattie Speck - The death of Mrs. Hattie S. Speck, widow of Phillip Speck, occurred at her home in Kasoag Monday afternoon following an illness of about a year. Mrs. Speck was born in Orwell, September 24, 1862, daughter of George and Martha Marlin Brownell. She had passed her entire life in this end of the county, her home having been in Kasoag the past 35 years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are one son, Herbert Speck, and one daughter, Mrs. Addison Stearns, both of Kasoag, and one brother, Norman Brownell of Ricard. The funeral will be held from her late home tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock.
