Notes - Newspaper Obituary - July 9, 1980 Pulaski Democrat - Area Deaths - Lillie E. Howlett, 74 - Mrs. Lillie E. Howlett, 74, of 7473 Maple Ave, died Sunday morning at the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She was born in Osceola to John and Delia Stewart Bush. She attended school here. She married William S. Howlett on April 12, 1923. He died in 1960. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church, the Ontario Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Rural Carrier Auxilliary, Pulask Grange, the ROSA Garden Club and World War I Veterans Auxiliary. Surviving are five sons, Dr. Harlen J. of Pleasant Valley, Alfred of Tully, William S. Jr. of Corona, Calif., Charles J. of Adams Center and Carl A. of Pulaski; two daughters Mrs. James (Lois) Roberts of Pulaski and Mr. Anthony (Carol) Rinaldo of Verona; a sister, Mrs. Alice Hotelling of Pulaski, 23 grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pulaski Baptist Church, the Rev. Dr. Edward VanderHey, former pastor of Pulaski Baptist Church and now pastor of First Baptist Church of Red Bank, N.J., officiating. Calling hours were 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Donations may be made to Pulaski Baptist Church.
