- John D. "Jack" Woods of 4367 Whedon Road, Camillus, died yesterday morning at Veterans Administration Hospital
A life resident of, the area, Mr. Woods had retired from the Penn Central Railroad where he was employed as a freight clerk. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks Local 252. Mr. Woods was an Army veteran of
World War II and a communicant of Holy Family Church in Fairmount. He also was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church.
Surviving are his wife, Rita K.; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Burke and Margaret; two sons, John G. and Dean E.; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Earie, Mrs. Frances Wolfe and Miss Betty; two brothers, Gene W. of California and George P.; a grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Edward Wrobel Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, the Rev. Ronald P. Bucket officiating.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 860 Park Ave.
