Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 23, 1936 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Brownell Baby Succumbs to Long Illness - Donald William, the 11 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Brownell of the Stillwater district, Orwell, died at the Crouse-Irving hospital, Syracuse, Monday, December 14 following about 13 weeks as a patient there with pneumonia. During the period of the child's illness it is reported that 73 tanks of oxygen were used in the effort to save his life. The tiny remains were removed to the home of his grandmother, Mrs. William Lester, Vorea, where the funeral was held last Wednesday with burial in Orwell.
