- Obituary for George D. Strassner II
GEORGE DONALD STRASSNER II, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on May 20, 2014. Survived by his wife Ginny (Rozzelle), daughters Gretchen Mills (Carl) of Mickleton, NJ, Gwendolyn Yoppollo of Audubon, NJ and son George D. Strassner III (Nicole) of Haddonfield. Also survived by his step sons Nolan C. Rozzelle III (Sheri) of Maple Shade and Brian D. Rozzelle Sr. (Lisa) of Bellmawr, grandchildren Stephanie Mills, Jessica Mills, Ronald Mills, Emily Strassner, Claire Strassner, step grandson Cameron Starrett, Brian Rozzelle Jr., and father-in-law Robert W. Carmany. Brother of Thomas Strassner, Anne Fetchik and Julia Strassner, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Donald Strassner Sr. and Katherine Strassner (Sherriff), and sister Carol. Graduated from Tri-State College, Angola, IN with a Bachelor''s of Science in 1964. George also graduated from Golden State College, San Francisco, CA with a Master''s Degree in Business Administration in 1970. He worked at Eaton Corporation in California. He then transferred to the New Jersey office. While working at Eaton, George started six craft stores in the Tri-State area known as Craft Bazaar. After closing the craft stores, he started Creative Hobbies Inc. in Mt. Laurel, NJ in a building he designed. Later on, he moved Creative Hobbies to Bellmawr, NJ. George was a licensed pilot in college, and an avid stamp collector. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Celebration of George''s life will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
