    • Online Obituary - Frank H. Newton, Sr. - June 13, 2016 - Frank H. Newton, Sr., 94, of Scriba, passed away on Monday, June 13at Oswego Hospital. He retired as a millwright at Nestle Company after many years and had previously worked at Sealright Packaging Company both in Fulton. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a life member of V.F.W. Post #569 in Fulton. He was an avid reader and a NASCAR racing fan. He was predeceased by his wife, Almeda Cunningham Newton and daughter, Donna Newton. Surviving are his children, Fred (Helen) Newton of Whitney Point, Patricia (Dolph) Skaggs of Enigma, GA, Priscilla Ferria of Meridian, MS, Jo-Ann (John) Green of Tifton, GA, Wayne (Bonnie) Newton of Hannibal, Carleen Waugh of Scriba, Kathleen Waugh of Tifton, GA, Frank (Carleen) Newton, Jr. of Hornell and Raymond Newton of Oswego; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 17 at Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal. Graveside services will immediately follow with full military honors at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, County Route 3, Hannibal. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
