    • Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, November 21, 1950 The Times Tribute - Scranton, Pennsylvania - Thomas Samuels Dies At Age of 84 in Seattle - Thomas Samuels, 84, Seattle, Wash., formerly of Wimmers and Taylor, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louise Kinney, Seattle, with whom he resided. He was a native of Englande and came here as a young man, settling in Taylor. He was a former mineworker and later was employed by the Erie Railroad Co. as a trackman. He had lived in Seattle for three years. Other survivors are two sons, Thomas Jr., Canada, and William, this City; 21 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
