    • Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, January 5, 1946 The Times Tribute - Scranton, Pennsylvania - Mrs. Mary Samuels, Eighty, Formerly of Wimmers, Dies - Word has been received here of the death Wednesday of Mrs. Mary Samuels, eight, Seattle, Wash. formerly of Wimmers, after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louise Kenney, Seattle, with whom she made her home. Mrs. Samuels was born in Wales and came to this country fifty-seven years ago. She made her home in Taylor for several years before moving to Wimmers. Surviving are her husband Thomas, her daughter; two sons, William, Scranton, and Thomas in Canada; nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. The funeral was held today at Seattle and burial was in that city.
