Harry Crouse Dies at Hospital - Harry Crouse, rear 136 E. Green St., Nanticoke, died Monday at 8:47 a.m. at Mercy Hospital. Born in Wanamie, Newport Township, he resided most of his life in Nanticoke where he was a member of Primitive Methodist Church. Mr. Crouse formerly was employed by Glen Alden Coal Company at Wanamie Colliery. He worked at Kis-Lyn School, Druma, from 1956 to 1960 and last was employed as a mechanic at Reakes Garage, retiring in 1971. He served as captain of the Nanticoke Auxiliary Police from 1960 to 1972. Surviving are his widow, the former Hazel Carichner; son, Jack, Nuangola; daughter, Mrs. Mary Neeld, Nuangola; five grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Slocum; Thomas, Nuangola; Alex, Reading; George, Sheatown; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Cunningham, Fair Chance; Mrs. Ida McCarthy, Edison, N.J. Funeral will be Thursday at 11 from Grontkowski Funeral Home, 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with Rev. John Sargent, pastor of Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Interment in Hanover Green Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 7 to 10 and Wednesay 2 to 4 and 7 to 10.
