    • Newspaper Obituary - April 29, 2014 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - David J. Reynolds - April 26, 2014 - David J. Reynolds, 58, of Richland, formerly of Syracuse, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, with family by his side. Adopted son of William Reynolds and Laura Essex, David served with the U.S. Marines from 1973 to 1976. Prior to his illness, David was employed with Roth Steel Corp. as a payloader/scale operator. David had a great passion for motorcycles. He was a proud owner of a Harley Davidson and enjoyed many rides up and down the east coast. David was predeceased by his mother, Laura; and his uncle and aunt, Orlie and Charlotte Reynolds. He is survived by his son, David (Kerri) Reynolds; stepsons, Jamie and Billy Arney; parents, William (Nancy) Reynolds; sister, Renae (George) Sacco; brothers, William H. Reynolds, Richard (Cathy) Tilkins, and Rodney (Tracey) Tilkins; sister-in-law, Angel Tilkins; grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Reynolds; several stepgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and former wife and close friend, Lisa Reynolds. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, 5 p.m., at Traub Funeral Home, 684 North Main Street, Central Square, NY 13036. Calling Hours: Friday, 3 to 5 p.m., at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
