    • Newspaper Obituary - October 30, 1919 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - WILLIAM H. SPENCER - William H. Spencer, 62, a native of Oswego county, who came to Pulaski a year or so ago, died Oct. 26, at his home in Furnace street, following a short illness. He was born in the town of Hastings, May 5, 1857, and when about nine years old went to the town of Albion, where he had for many years prior to coming to Pulaski been engaged in farming. He was well and favorably known throughout the eastern section of Oswego county. Surviving besids the widow are a son and daughter, Charles Spencer and Mrs. William Montondo, both of Albion. The Rev. William Thomas, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, Parish, officiated at the funeral which was held at the family home at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and an hour later in the Methodist Episcopal church, Dugway.
