      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 15, 1908 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Lorenzo D. Sage, after an illness of three and one-half weeks, passed away Thursday morning. Mrs. Sage was born in Pulaski, September 19, 1845, the daughter of Jacob and Huldah Smith, attended school at the Pulaski Academy, being a student there when it first opened. She was united in marriage to Lorenzo D. Sage, March 18, 1868. There were three children, Arlon J. Sage, who died September 12, 1896, George D. Sage, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. J. W. Parkhurst, of this village. Mrs. Sage has always resided in Pulaski and vicinity, except about five years spent in the west. She was a member of the First M. E. church, also a member of J. B. Butler W. R. C., No. 19, holding the office of conductor. The funeral, which was held Sunday, was largely attended, Rev. C. H. _ conducting the services, assisted by the members of the Relief Corps. The interment was made in Pulaski cemetery. Besides the husband she is survived by her father, Jacob Smith, and brother, J_ Smith, of Buffalo, New York, a sister, Mrs. Henry B. Whitney, of this village and two children.
