    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 5, 1885 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - Albion - Died, in Albion, January 30, 1885, Mrs. Spencer, widow of Solomon Spencer, in the 99th year of her age. She had suffered severely with a cancer for a long time, but had a very bad sick turn about three weeks ago from which she never recovered. She, with her husband, came into this town when quite young and has lived here ever since. She brought up a large family, three of whom are still living in this town. The writer has known her for about forty-four years, and during that time at least, she has been considered a faithful Christian. The funeral services were held February 1, at the residence of her son, Nelson, where she had lived for a number of years. Sermon preached by Rev. D. H. Devol.
