Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 19, 1913 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Saturday afternoon, at the home in Mill street, occurred the death of Julia Burdick Hutchins, wife of Warren D. Hutchins, who had been ill for some time with Bright's disease. Mrs. Hutchins was born in the town of Albion, near the Lloyd schoolhouse where she spent most of her life, moving to this village seven years ago. When at the age of thirteen she united at Albion Baptist church. She, with her husband, later united with the Fernwood Baptist church and there their membership remained until they came to this village when they became members of the Pulaski church where Mrs. Hutchins has been a faithful worker during her life here She was deeply interested in the church, seldom absent from services of any nature. She was an honored and active member of the W.C.T.U. In her home she was the inspiration of her husband and children. Meek, gentle, kind, were her characteristics. In her death the home is bereft of a loved one, the church a faithful servant and the community a most kindly individual. Mrs. Hutchins is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. John Clark, of Carthage; Miss Bertha, Miss Marion and one son, Grover, who resides in the home; also a brother, Brayton, at Fernwood and a sister, Mrs. George Buck, of Mexico. The funeral was held yesterday at one o'clock, Rev. E. A. Rogers, her pastor, officiating. Burial at Willis cemetery.
