    • Newpaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 15, 1971 Sandy Creek News - Burt Stewart, 55, Dies - Burt I. Stewart, 55 of R. D. 2, Pulaski, a resident of the Sandy Pond vicinity all his life, died Sept. 9, 1971 in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown where he had been a patient for one day. Mr. Stewart was the son of the late Milton and Myrtle Kinsman Stewart of Sandy Creek and was born in this town Nov. 15, 1915. He is survived by six brothers, George of Adams, Dexter, Harwood, James, Harold and Fred Stewart, all of Sandy Creek, and three sisters, Mrs Ward (Eva) Sampson of Mannsville, Mrs. Ernest (Ethel) Greenwood and Mrs. Fred (Bertha) Moyer of Sandy Creek. Mr. Stewart had been employed at the Bartlett Bait Shop at Sandy Pond. His funeral was held Friday afternoon at the O'Brien Funeral Home in Sandy Creek, with Rev. Ivan Greenfield, pastor of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church Officiating. Burial in the Richland cemetery.
