GUGLE, Lloyd D. (Barney) - Of Flint, age 84, died Thursday, May 9, 1996 at Kith Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 10AM Monday, May 13, 1996 at Rossell Funeral Home, Rev. Dennis Foley officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4PM to 9PM Saturday and Sunday. If desired, contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice. Mr. Gugle was born in Ohio on May 2, 1912, the son of George and Martha (Plag) Gugle. He married Maude Thurston on November 9, 1932 in Evart. He had been employed as a Fireman for Fisher Body Plant #1 for 31 years, retiring in 1981. Surviving are: wife, Maude Gugle of Flint; 2 sons, Howard and wife Sue Gugle of Flushing, Duane and wife Cathy Gugle of Houghton Lake; 2 daughters, Marlene and husband Jim Brown of Chesaning, Barbara and husband Doug Lorenc of Houghton Lake; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
