  Marlene J. Brown Of Chesaning Passed away Wednesday morning, June 15, 2016, at Genesys Regional Medical Center of Grand Blanc, Michigan. She was 82 years old. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Rev. Ray Strawser will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation for Marlene will be from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home of Chesaning. Marlene was born in Evart, Michigan on May 15, 1934, the daughter of Lloyd and Maude (Thurston) Gugle. She married George J. Brown on May 24, 1952. They were married for 49 years before George passed away on August 18, 2001. Marlene was a loving wife and mother. Those left to mourn her loss include her six children, Cynthia Lynn (Robert) Byrd of Chesaning, James (Kathy) Brown of Oakley, Temperance Brown of Chesaning, John (Lori) Brown of East Lansing, Dawn (Jim) Guercio of Florida and Thomas Brown (and fiancée Randi) of Midland; a daughter-in-law, Diana Brown; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild on the way.
