    • Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Harwood H. Stewart - Sandy Creek - Harwood H. Stewart, 53, County Route 15, Sandy Creek, a farmer and mechanic, died of an apparent heart attack at his home Tuesday, May 15. The funeral was Friday at the O'Brien Funeral Home. Rev. Ivan Greenfield, pastor of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Richland cemetery. Surviving are five brothers, Dexter, James, Harold and Fred, all of the town of Sandy Creek; George, Adams; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Ethel) Greenwood, Town of Sandy Creek; Mrs. Bertha Moyer, Florida; Mrs. Ward (Eva) Sampson, Mannsville; nieces and nephews. Born December 10, 1919, in the Town of Sandy Creek, a son of Milton and Myrtle Kinsman Stewart, he attended Sandy Creek rural schools and served in World War II. Mr. Stewart had been a farmer and a mechanic in the Town of Sandy Creek most of his life.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 17, 1973 Palladium Times - Harwood Stewart - Sandy Creek - Harwood H. Stewart, 52, of County Route 15, Town of Sandy Creek, died unexpectantly Tuesday at home. He was a life resident of the Town of Sandy Creek. He was a dairy farmer and mechanic. Surviving are five brothers, Dexter, James, Harold, Fred, all of the Town of Sandy Creek and George of Adams; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Greenwood of Mansville. Mrs. Bertha Moyer of Florida, and Mrs. Ward Sampson of Mannsville. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at O'Brien Funeral Home. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home, First Street.
