    • Mrs. Elizabeth Stowell

      Mrs. Elizabeth H. Stowell, 82, of the Spring Brook Apartments, Pulaski, died Sunday, June 20 at Mercy Hospital, Watertown. Born in Boylston, Mrs. Stowell lived many years in Sandy Creek, moving to Pulaski in 1976. Her husband, Leon, died in 1974. Mrs. Stowell retired from the Blount Lumber Co., Lacona. She was a 50-year member of Lake Ontario Chapter 124, OES, and a member of Sandy Creek United Methodist Church.

      Surviving are a son, Jesse of Lacona; a daughter, Mrs. Muriel Texido of Clay; a sister, Mrs. Alta Nemier of Lacona; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wesleyan Cemetery, Lacona, the Rev. Stanley Tanner officiating.

      There will be no calling hours.

      Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Northern Oswego County Ambulance.

      Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, has charge of arrangements.
