- OSWEGO - William J. Delaney, 47, 0f 102 E. Oneida St., died Monday afternoon at Oswego Hospital after becoming ill at Papertronics, Inc.
He was born in Oswego to William J and Helen Audlin Delaney. For seven years he was lead and set-up man for Papertronics. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jeannine Gillen, Mrs. James Freeden of Scriba and Mrs. Robert Macy of Oswego; a son William, a student at Oswego High School; four grandchildren; a brother David Lass, and a sister. Miss Judy Lass, both of Oswego.
Services will b at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Dain Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Louis Church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday Wednesday.
