    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 14, 1876 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Casket - Ingersoll - At the residence of his son, J. B. Ingersoll, in the town of Port Washington, Wisconsin, on Thursday, August 24th, 1876, John Ingersoll, in his 89th year. The deceased was born in Floyd, Oneida County, state of New York, in the year 1788. At an early age he moved to Oswego County, from there he came to Wisconsin in 1848, and lived with his son, J. B. Ingersoll, until his death. He was a remarkably quiet, unobstructed man, and enjoyed his long life in peace with himself and the world, he passed away like a child, and without a struggle. -Ozaukee County Advertiser.
