    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 5, 1931 Oswego Palladium Times - Ward Horr - Phoenix - Jan 5 - Ward Horr, 75, died suddenly Sunday morning at his home in Lock street. Mr. Horr was born in Poland, N.Y., son of Peter and Melissa Kent Horr. He had been for the past 20 years a resident of Phoenix and for five years has been employed by the state as bridge tender on the barge canal. He was a member of Golden Rule Lodge, 77, I.O.O.F. Mr. Horr was united in marriage December 31, 1879, to Miss Susie Widrick, who survives him. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Frederick W. Morgan and Mrs. Roy Limbeck, and one grandson, Clifford King, all of Phoenix. He leaves four sisters, Mrs. Ida Waring of Syracuse, Mr. John Bentley of Phoenix, Mrs. Grace Harding of Clay, and Mrs. Stella Cuyler of Fulton. Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday at 2 p.m. and burial made in Phoenix Rural cemetery. The Rev. G. W. Carr, pastor of Baptist church, will officiate.
