Notes - Pauline L. Willson, 83, of Florence, NY passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She was born on March 10, 1934 in Redfield, NY, a daughter of Leland & Claire Engle Yerdon. Pauline was a graduate of Sandy Creek High School. She was united in marriage to Leon W. Willson on July 13, 1952 in Redfield, NY. He passed away on December 19, 2000. Pauline worked as a cook for the Florence Hotel for many years. She was a member of the Redfield Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting.
Surviving are one daughter, Tammy & James Hanright, Rome, NY, one son, Steve & Leita Willson, Florence, NY, ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, three sisters, Shirley Hull, Lacona, NY, Elaine ‘Suz’ & John Yerdon, Redfield, NY, Betty & Phil Beebe, Fulton, NY, one brother, Gerald Yerdon, California, MD, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, one son, Chris ‘Critter’ Willson, and four brothers, Eugene, Richard, Robert, and Ronald Yerdon.
The family of Pauline would like to extend a special thank you to the Floyd Volunteer Fire Department for their help and assistance in their time of need.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M., Saturday, December 9, 2017 from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Calling hours will be held from 2-4:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Interment will take place in the Redfield Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Redfield Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
