    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday Evening, November 2, 1905 Rome Daily Sentinel - Oneida - The funeral of Emmett D. Scribner, who died Tuesday at Syracuse, was held today at 2 p. m. at the home of his father, Joseph D. Scribner in this city. He was about 41 years old. and besides his father and mother is survived by a brother, Ernest of Stockbridge, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Whitney of New York. The services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Herrick and burial was made at Greenwood.
