    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 21, 1918 Madison County Leader and Observer - West Avenue - (Received too late for last issue) - Feb. 13. - Mrs. Joseph Scribner, aged seventy-two years, died at her home Sunday, Feb. 3rd, after being ill with pneumonia for several weeks. She is survived by one son Ernest, who lives at the home, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles Whitney, who lives in New York. The funeral services were held at the Glenwood chapel on Wednesday morning.
