    • Newspaper Obituary - Friday, March 18, 1921 Madison County Leader and Observer - Peterboro - Clark Cummings, aged 70 years, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Ginney, March 7th, the latter being a daughter. Mr. Cummings was born near Cicero in 1851 and was married to Clemanda Golding in Vernon in 1873. His wife died in 1875, leaving one child, Mrs. T. C. Ginney. In 1877 he was married to Miss Ella Moody of North Smithfield. By his second wife two children were born, Mrs. Orin Hoffman of Oneida, Ward who died when an infant, and Orin, an adopted son, who has also passed away. Mr. Cummings was engaged in farming until 1900, when he moved to Oneida. In 1918 his health failed and he came with his estimable wife, to the home of Mr. Ginney, where he died. The funeral services were held at the home. Mrs. A. B. Annable officiating. Interment was made at Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida.
