Notes - September 4, 2003 Geraldine M. "Gerri" Oyer, 85, of St. Rt. 13, Williamstown, NY passed away Thursday, September 4, 2003 at University Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born July 21, 1918 in the Town of Williamstown a daughter of Otto & Audro Wilson Roser and was educated in the Ricard School. On August 15, 1941 she married Ezra H. Oyer in Williamstown, he died February 3, 1981. Gerri worked various jobs, taking care of homes and children in her younger years. She was also a member of the Williamstown Vol. Fire Dept., Auxiliary, and T.O.P.S. Surviving are her loving daughter, Brenda and George Kellogg; two adoring grandsons, Henry and Timothy Kellogg, all of Williamstown; a "special daughter", Leona Johnson, Williamstown; several brothers and sisters-in-law, Verna, Celia and Leland Britton, Ruth Webb, Fran and Ralph Matteson; several nieces and nephews, many dear friends. Funeral services will be held 9:30 Saturday from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamstown Library or Historical Society.
