Harlow L Chase, 85 of County Route 22 Lacona, died Monday. Born in Boylston he graduated from Sandy Creek School in1933. He retired in 1980 as a self employed building contractor and a bus driver for Sandy Creek Central School after 30 years. He was a 50 year member and a trustee of Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church. He was a member of Robert Edwards American Legion Post in Pulaski. He was an Army veteran of World War 11.
Survivors are his wife of 55 years, the former Margaret Rudd; two daughters Kathleen Chase of New York City and Dr Priscilla Chase Thibault of Orwell; a sister Mildred Chase Reid of Lacona, and four grandchildren. Services will be from the Wesleyan Church in Sandy Creek with burial in the Wesleyan cemetery. Summerville Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
