- MARION | Julie L. Kingsley Smith, 44, wife of the late John ''Little John'' Smith, of White Tail Court, died Friday, September 4, 2009.
Mrs. Smith was born in Oswego, New York, a daughter of Ronald Pryor and Lillie Bailey. She was a registered nurse with South Carolina Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Florence and worked with several local hospitals. Mrs. Smith was previously employed with the Oswego County Health Department for nearly 20 years. Her greatest joy was raising her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Lillie and Roy Bailey; her father and stepmother, Ron and Carole Pryor all of Oswego, N.Y.; two daughters, Jessica and Jolene Kingsley; one son, Justin Kingsley all of Myrtle Beach; two grandchildren, Jocelynn and James Kingsley; one sister, Rhonda Driscoll; two nieces, Trisha and Stacy Driscoll; paternal grandmother, Lois Pryor; and maternal grandmother, Lillie LaMond, all of Oswego, N.Y.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. Micah Lane and the Rev. Freddie Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the funeral home.
