    • Patricia A. Kinsman, 50, of Alfred, died unexpectedly on September 5, 2011 in the company of her loved ones at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

      Patty was born in Keene Valley, NY on January 29, 1961 to George and Sandra (Smith) Kinsman of AuSable Forks, NY. After the early death of her mother, Patty was raised by her beloved grandmother, Norma Smith who she affectionately referred to as "Myrtle the Turtle."

      Patty enjoyed bartending at the Wolves Club and spent many years working at Spencer Press. She loved being a grandmother. Her grandchildren, Jayna, Jayden and Jessie were the love of her life. Matthew her godson, whom she called her little man, could always calm Patty and bring a smile to her face. Patty was well known for her awesome bonfires, and fondly nicknamed "3-Cord Patty." She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman and will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

      She is survived by her husband Timothy Osier of Alfred; two sons, John (JK) Kinsman and his wife Patricia and Jason Snow and his wife Melissa all of AuSable Forks, NY; her father, George Kinsman of AuSable Forks, NY; three grandchildren, Jayna Lee Kinsman, Jayden Marie Snow and Jessie James Snow; five siblings, Norma LaHue and her husband Frank of Peru, NY, Michael Kinsman, Benny Kinsman and his wife Maggie all of AuSable, NY, Kelly Moulton and her husband George of Dayton, TX and Kenny Kinsman of Margate, FL; her best friend, Eleanor "Bag" Bedard as well as many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

      Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM with a memorial service following at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 10th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.
