    • Newspaper Obituary - June 21, 1984 Times Leader - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - Regina Gavin - Regina M. Gavin, 55, of 42 Butler St., Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday afternoon at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late William and Genevieve Kennedy Mattick. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Wilkes-Barre. Surviving are sons, James, Fort Meade, Md.; William, Richmond, Ky.; David and Patrick, Wilkes-Barre; John, Baltimore, Md.; Mark, Pittsburgh; daughters, Kathleen Gavin, Wilkes-Barre; Molly Farrell, Wilkes-Barre; Eileen Malek, Wilkes-Barre; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Marie Corcoran, Plains; Mrs. Gertrude Sheridan, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Theresa Egan, Forest Park, Mrs. Dolores Dohman, Wilkes-Barre. A sister, Genevieve McGilloway, died June 17, 1983. Funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains. Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
