Mr. Jerome B. Wheeler, a farmer, of Middleville, dropped dead near his barn Saturday evening about 6 o'clock. Mr. Wheeler was milking the cows and had gone out in search of one which was missing. He found the animal and chased her around the yard several times and called for help, on the appearance of which he fell backwards and expired immediately. Death is supposed to be the result of heart disease. He was 57 years of age and leaves four children, a son who is married and three young daughters, to mourn his loss.
