Bass, who was buried at Orwell cemetery last week. He was buried by the G.A.R. boys according to their rules. Forty-five teams followed his remains to their last resting place. Sympathetic friends mingled their tears with the mourning ones as he was generally lowered into his last narrow little bed. Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep, From which none ever wake to weep.
