      Peter C. Myers, 17, son of Charles E. and Helen Myers, of 352 Park St., died Monday evening in Oswego Hospital after an illness of several months. A senior at G. Ray Bodley high school, he was active in church and Boy Scout activities. He was a number of State Methodist church and its Methodist Youth Fellowship. He was junior assistant scout leader of Troop 113 of the church. He was also a member of the Pathfinder Fish and Game Club. Surviving besides his parents, are several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Gardner funeral home with Rev. Harold Thomas, pastor of State St. Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be In Peck Cemetery, Scriba, at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Peter C. Myers Memorial Fund of State St. Methodist church.
