    • Mrs. Lucinda Heaton Hooper died at her home in Albion, Feb. 12, 1908, age 85 years, 7 months and 8 days. She was born in Canada 1822, where she spent the early part of her life. She was united in marriage to Sylvester Hooper in Sept., 1848. They moved to Albion in 1856 where she has lived ever since, Mr. Hooper having died 11 years ago this month. She joined the M. E. church at Dugway shortly after moving to this place and was a good Christian woman, a kind neighbor and a loving mother. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Sarah E. Heaton, of Washington, and Miss Sophrona Heaton, of Canada, two children, Cyrus Hooper and Mrs. Daniel Miller, two grandchildren, Miss Mande San pon and Eugene Miller, of Fulton, and also two great grandchildren. Funeral was held at Dugway church, Friday, Feb. 14, Rev. Windsor officiating.
