    • Newspaper Obituary - December 19, 1959 - Wilkes-Barre Times Leader Evening News - Mrs. Agnes McCabe - Mrs. Agnes McCabe of 50 Dillion Street, Miners Mills, died last night at 7:30 in Mercy Hospital where she was admitted yesterday morning after suffering a stroke at her home. She had been receiving medical treatment. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Miners Mills, and the Altar and Rosary Society. Born in Plymouth, she spendt most of her life in Miners Mills. Surviving are her husband Felix; daughters, Mrs. Anna Devaney, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Joseph Harnicher, Miners Mills, and sons Harold, and Eugene, Boston, Mass. Funeral will be held from the funeral home, 20 South Main Street, Plains. Friends may call tonight 7 to 10 and thereafter 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.

A requiem mass was celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church by Rev. Thomas J. McCormick. Organist was Eleanor Maycock and the Children's choir sang. Interment was in Sacret Heart Cemetery, Plains, where Rev. Father McCormick pronounced final benediction. Pallbearers were Thomas Toole, Bernard Rogan, Joseph Savage, Peter Bos, Joseph McCabe and Joseph Wielkopski.
